This release had a couple of changes designed to improve application performance and some functionality to allow using the “Ticket List” for verifying tickets instead of “Tickets by Driver.”
Companies with hundreds of jobs and tickets per day may find the “Tickets by Driver” screen slow to load since we load all the information needed up front so the operations should be faster once loaded. If you don’t stay on a single date on this screen for long, and you frequently have to wait for this screen to load, you may want to start verifying the tickets on the “Ticket List”.
We moved the verified column to the left on the previous release so that it always shows and can be checked from the grid without having to edit the ticket.
In this release, we added a new “Edit Job” option to the menu for each ticket that allows you to edit the job associated with the ticket. This means that you don’t have to leave the “Ticket List” to find and edit a job elsewhere.

We added the ability to track Tax entities and associated rates a couple of releases ago. We also added the ability to show tax on quotes. At that time, we didn’t include a way for the default tax code to be added to quotes automatically. That resulted in orders being created from quotes to not have a default tax rate.
To see the tax code on quotes you will need to check the “Show Tax on Printed Quote” checkbox on the Quote Settings tab.

If you have a single Tax Code that should always be used, you can set that up on the new “Tax” settings tab. If you have multiple locations with different tax entities, we recommend that you do not set this default so it will be more noticeable when it is missing on an order.

We corrected an edge case where hours entered by the backoffice weren’t being included in the driver pay statement.
“Charge to” was being displayed on the “Add Job” dialog even though the “Hide Charge To” checkbox was checked.
Improved performance of “Edit Order” and “Get Invoices”.
Changed the initial scale on the Job Summary Cycle Time. Only a few select companies have this view enabled for Beta testing. We want to make sure it doesn’t hurt performance before we roll it out more widely.
