Release 2.9.26

Overview

The main changes in this release are improved performance and functionality of the Ticket List. We also added the ability to track invoice payments, and a few other small features and fixes.

Payments

Added the ability to track payments.

Added the ability to select multiple statuses for filtering the invoice data.

Added a “Due Date” column to the invoice list.

Updated Ticket List

Changed the “Status” to include the new “Paid” status. Removed the “Print” status. Anything printed or emailed will show the “Sent” status. For the emailed items, you’ll still have the email icon indicators.

Ticket List

Improved the performance of the Ticket List query. If you have more than 50 trucks, you might want to use the Ticket List to verify your tickets instead of the “Tickets by Driver.

Added the ability to edit the job related to the ticket directly from the “Ticket List”.

We are thinking of removing the “Tickets by Driver” screen. Please let me know your thoughts on that. If you are against removing it, let us know what functionality it has that you can’t do on the “Tickets List”. We are working on a way to add the EIA fuel cost without the “Tickets by Driver” screen.

Since we haven’t ever archived tickets, some customers have a large number of tickets active in the system. To reduce the database load on the queries, we are requiring a ticket date range and limit that range to a year.

Dispatching

Fixed the issue where some of the dispatches weren’t getting canceled on marking a job complete when a truck had multiple jobs for the day.

Miscellaneous

Removed a warning symbol on the “Tickets by Driver” view. It suggested that a Material total is overridden when the job is freight only.

Clear the local cache on new updates to prevent an issue if columns are changed on a datatable.

Added a new invoice template.

Upgraded the PWA Driver App to .NET 9 Core framework. If you are using the PWA (web-based) driver app, you might consider having your drivers use the native driver apps. The performance on the native apps is better than the PWA. It also allows them to see multiple jobs and provides messaging functionality in the app.
